- More Expensive than Pine
- Can cause allergies (Rare)
- Fades overtime if not stained or sealed during it's lifetime
PRESSURE TREATED PINE
Lifespan of 10-15 years
PROS:
- The most budget friendly wood for fences
- Typically readily available*
CONS:
- Can bend and warp easily
- Has to be chemically treated for building
- Harder to stain
- Wait to paint or stain 3-6 months to allow treatment to dry out
